Unfortunate accident reveals this product is tough!
I recently bought and had installed two of these changing stations in a church setting, and am very happy with this purchase. They are very sturdy, and I have no doubt they will perform as advertised, even holding up to the 200 pound weight limit listed in the product description, because almost immediately after installation there was a very unfortunate accident. Without going into details, a special needs adult fell onto one of the units with their full weight. Thankfully, they were not hurt. It’s a testament to the product construction that, even with such an incident, the unit was not ripped from the wall, nor was the base / changing table stripped from the hinging mechanicanism. I confess, I expected the worst, thinking it would be totally useless, but not so.In full disclosure, there was damage – the base table does not hang fully level, even after repair. Not perfect, but far better than I expected. If we find we can’t live with it, we may contact customer support for suggestions.I can definitely recommend this product.HARDWARE NOTE: The units come with hardware for wood stud installation, but if you have metal studs like we do, metal hardware purchase is required. We had seen this in a review, so no surprise for us.

Donated and installed this for my church since they did not have one. I’ve used it multiple times since and it does not disappoint! Big enough for my 2 year old girl and very sturdy! So far it has been greatly valued at my church.
